When one player physically blocks their teammate from proceeding forward, usually through doorways or other kinds of entryways. “Man, why the heck are you body blocking me!?!”

A setting that dictates how dim the game is when displayed on the monitor. A higher setting equals a lighter displayer while a lower setting results in a darker display. “Billy, this game is too scary and dark for me, hold on while I turn up my brightness.”

When a player survives a headshot while wearing armor of some kind. “He’s dinked, you can just tickle his toes and he will die!”

The money that a team or individual possesses, and the underlying mechanics relevant to how and why money is earned and spent. “Our team’s economy is in good shape, we can afford to buy 2 operators”

An aggressive and often risky peek made by a player in the attempt to win an aim fight against another player. “Why did you ego peek him dude, we had man advantage!”

The player on a team that has the designated role of leading the team first into an area and taking fights before other team members. “I really like being the dedicated entry fragger for my team.”

When a player starts to plant the bomb but then quickly stops to trigger an audio cue to other players indicating that they are actually continuing to plant the bomb. “You should’ve fake planted to bait him to peek you.”
